Welcome to MOvember! The lovely gentlemen in the FRENDS crew are stepping up their ‘stache’s this month and are participating in “MOvember” (or No-Shave November).
If you’re confused, here’s what you need to know:
Movember encourages men (and their counterparts, the aptly named Mo-Sistas) to grow out their facial hair for 30-days during the month of November (also sometimes called, “No-Shave November”).
But what is the point? The point is to raise awareness and combat prostate and testicular cancer, as well as to raise awareness to mental health challenges.
How do you help? By simply going HERE (I’ve linked to Jack’s Movember page) and donating, or, even registering to participate. If you’re donating you can either donate to a specific team member or to the overall team. If you’re registering, you can register to join a team or fly solo.
If you’re still not sold (don’t know why you wouldn’t be, look at that handsome beardless face up there)… check out us.movember.com or, worldwide, movember.com for more information including their goals, to donate, or to register.
Eric Jackson_ Haines, Alaska_ May 2009
I remember I wanted to create a portrait that in one image would get across the message of how hard it is to film a backcountry video part in snowboarding. Multiple long hard days in the cold and on the road for maybe a 2 minute section. As compared to X games pipe rider these lives are very different and I wanted to portray that.
"Welcome: Eric Jackson" premieres on Monday by Eric’s sponsor Adidas.
Don’t forget to go give it a look!
We don’t know, that would be something you would have to ask Eric or John about, perhaps you should tweet them?
The pick-axe piece is currently not for sale. The only Jax Union piece currently for sale is the Brother’s For Hope pendant however it is sold out at this time.
Keep checking back at Jaxunion.com to see when they’re available!

A breakthrough winter in 2012 saw Eric Jackson land a video part of the Year award and embark on an epic road trip from Alaska to Chile with brother John. I’ve had the massive privilege to get to know Eric and be able to call him a friend since moving to Mammoth Lakes, CA earlier this year. stoked for you fella! Check out his interview in the new Whitelines Mag.
